Stretching : Quadricep Stretch
This stretch is for the quadricep muscle, the red line indicates where the tension is. First off, read the information on the Stretching page to read about the idea of a light jog before stretching and much more. For this stretch you need to stand up straight, then bend the desired leg at the knee, clasping it in your hand behind you. Apply a light tension, pulling on the foot with your hand and you will feel the quadricep stretch. The more experieced at stretching you become, the more tension you will be able to apply, so if you see a trained high-level athlete perform this stress applying huge tension to their muscles this does not mean that you too can try it like that straight off. Like everything stretching takes making hours of hard work and practice. Hold and repeat on the other leg.
